So yesterday I did a "pre" grand opening visit to one of the latest and greatest spots to hit Old Town Temecula - Crepe Vine Cafe (it was "pre" because I had to leave before the big party started to get down to MCAS Miramar to welcome home some Marines).
If you haven't had a chance to check this spot out yet, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere is super inviting - and if you don't want to sit inside, it has a lovely patio perfect for visiting and people-watching. Everything they serve is absolutely delicious (I've been in a few times).
They offer both sweet and savory crepes - I had the Hawaiian my first time (since it was lunch time) but after seeing the Strawberry-Banana Nutella one, I think I will have to try that one next - it got rave reviews (see pics below). I've also sampled their awesome coffee bar a few times - a nice change from the usual Starbucks. My first time in, the owner Linds Hirsch Quagliata snuck me a little sample of their gelato as well. I don't know about the rest of them, but the Creme Brûlée one was awesome.
